Retreats

Last weekend, I took some of my youth to a local camp; Keats camp. It was an awesome time to get away, grow in our relationships and experience God. All this and we got to have a ton of fun.
We did everything from dock jumping, to hiking, we even went star tipping. Its when you look up at one star, spin around for 20 seconds then stop and your friend shines a light in your eye...boom you fall over.

The value of secluding yourself from the busyness of everyday life once in a while is huge. We need to take a break and get away. If we do it to often, we just start to look like a hermit. Once in a while however refreshes the soul...even if going away to camp leaves the body exhausted.
