Romp to Stomp

Amy and I just went to volunteer for Romp to Stomp ( a snowshoe fundraiser for breast cancer) and it got me thinking about fundraising for churches. So often when we fund raise for youth groups, we do lame things that often don't really excite people.

What if we did an activity to raise funds, have the youth put on a sports clinic! Have the youth do a walk or run to raise funds? Have students sleep on the street for a night to show what it is like and have people donate.

We need to keep it interesting, because when something awesome is happening people want to be involved, when its the same old same old, people feel obligated to be involved.
